hi,

i do some ping command from command prompt in windowsxp to find the
connection properties, that works fine but my question is that i want to
know the person whom i am pinging through netstat command without the use of
any other software so is ther any command avaliable ?

You're not pinging "the person" and the netstat is not a tool you're looking
for but nobody runs the finger daemons/services nowadays unless you're in
closed UN*X environment.
