Recently, all the computers on my home network worked
fine. HOwever, one of them, when turned on, screwed up
determining its IP. It has the wrong Subnet Mask
(255.255.0.0 instead of 255.255.255.0) and it has no
Default Gateway (which should be 192.168.111.1) I tried to
manually configure the IP instead of determining it
automatically, but I don't know the DNS server of the
other computers. Is there any way to fis the autoconfig
or to find the IP config? E-mail me at (e-mail address removed)
with any help.

If you type in a command line:

ipconfig /release <enter>
and then...
ipconfig /renew <enter>

...do you get the correct IP address? ipconfig /all will tell you which DHCP
server it got it from. Perhaps you have more than one on your network (a
no-no)?

do you
