IP addresses in Hosts file not resolved

Something happened in the past day that now causes errors
when I try to access any IP's defined in my host file. The
host file exists, without and extension in the correct
format. If I try to connect, or ping any of the defs in
this file, I receive a Host Not Found error. Any
suggestions?
 
Hi, What format is the host fle now in? Have you tried
doing a system restore?

Yeah, trash that stupid corrupt host file by renaming it and create a new one.

Make sure you are virus / worm / spyware free
=========================================================
