IP ADDRESS

I want to know the IP address of a printer. Are there any software that
can do this for me remotely or otherwise? I tried printing the
configuration page from the printer but the IP address is somehow blocked.

This is a public printer used by all but managed by an ADMINISTRATOR. I am using my own laptop to access it.

On one of the computers that is using the printer go into Control
Panel/printers and find the printer. In it's properties go to ports -
configure port. Under port settings see what is listed for name or IP. If
the IP is not listed but just a name then try to ping that name and it
should show the IP assuming there is connectivity to that printer. You could
also try using an utility like Angry IP scanner to scan your network range
of IPs and if it is a class C network it should not take to long to scan the
network. The host names shown should help identify the computer and if you
scan for IPs that have port 80 TCP open then that may help find the printer
also as many printers have a built in web server to manage them.

If the printer firmware responds to ping (ICMP echo), either Angry IP Scanner or
Soft Perfect Network Scanner should be able to sort you.
