Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: HEALTH , and hit enter.
Click on "Get information about your computer".
Then click on "View general system information about this computer".
Your IP Address will be shown under "General Computer Info".
press the windows button and "r" to open an execution prompt
then enter cmd to open a command prompt.
now enter ipconfig /all to view your ip address and other helpfull
information.
