I have a couple questions Number 1 is when i do a route print on my xp
machine one of the lines is

Network Destincation Netmask Gateway
Interface Metric
255.255.255.255 255.255.255.255 10.1.1.85 10003
1
The gateway is my ip address but what i dont understand is what is the 10003?

My next question i posted earlier and someone had me go here and download
this but it did not work
http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/problems-with-lsp-winsock-layer-in.html

I had 2 computers then the next day 1 more computer that was unable to get
to the internet, they could not evey ping the default gateway for some
reason. I did an ipconfig /all and every thing looked good. But what i did
notice is that all 3 of the computers that could not get on internet or ping
gateway were 10.1.1.210-212. I even tryed switching them to static with the
same ip address that they had even though i did not think it would work but i
was just trying things. But anyway once i was able to have dhcp hand them a
different address other that those 3 address's everything worked fine. And
there is nothing in the firewall preventing those 3 ip address's from getting
out or pinging the default gateway. Once i got an ip address from the dhcp
that worked i switched it back statically to one of those ip address's that
did not let me out it still did not work. Does anyone know why those 3 ip
address's will not let you ping the default gateway or get past the default
gateway

The 10003 is very likely the metric for that interface.

You need to be more specific about your problems - saying "it did not work"
doesn't help anybody. Also, posting in one thread helps everybody refer to your
previous posts easier.

What ip address range is used by the computers that can access the internet?
Can you post "ipconfig /all" for a couple computers that are working, and for
the ones that aren't? What subnet mask is used on your network?

And that 10003 was the interface and the metric was one but i still do not
know what it means by interface 10003

the scope is 10.1.1.1-10.1.1.254. and that ip config that i posted last time
it is the same for the computers that are able to ping the default gatway and
get on the internet and the 3 that were not able to ping the default gatway
and get on the internet except the computers ip address is different
10.1.1.210,211, and 212

Well, it's vaguely possible that complete, unedited copies of "ipconfig /all"
from non-working computers, and from working ones, might be useful here, and
more useful than a small portion of just one. If this problem comes up again,
you might try posting a bit more detail.

We'll try to help you here, but you have to help us too.
