IP Address Help

Recently I noticed that my IP address was automatically changed (I think for
security reasons) from my D-Link router. However, when I type in "IPCONFIG"
from the command prompt, the window displays my old IP address. I believe
that this is slowing down my cable internet connection because it used to be
very fast. I've also done internet cleanups and everything else on explorer,
so it should be fast. Does anybody know how to help me on this issue? Thank
you!

Use ipconfig /all to see all the address. Both your
computer and router have an IP address and you have DHCP
also.

This doesn't make any sense. The results from IPCONFIG are current. It
displays your current IP address. What address changed? Your router's
Internet IP or your computers local IP? Please post the results of IPCONFIG
/ALL and indicate which address changed or should be changed. What Internet
cleanups did you do?

Nope. If you have a broadband router that is acting as a DHCP server,
then ipconfig will only return the computer's assigned IP from the
router. You won't see the actual IP address assigned against the
actual modem.
