I have received frequent messages that my system
has "recovered from a serious error," problaby involving
Iomega Active Disk. (I emailed Iomega twice and have
received no reply.)

The Microsoft screen suggested I go to the Iomega site
and update the Active Disk program, which I did. Still
get the messages every few days.

Any known problems of this sort, and any suggestions?

Thanks!

to stop getting error msgs i had to delete all iomega
software....iomegaware, active disk, hotburn etc. second if look in disk
management you will see that iomega [even zip drives] are healthy[active]
which means they can have an os and boot. windows treats active disks
differently,,,more checking etc. if iomega device is combo[usb and
firewire] don't use firewire you get some strange things like paging error
etc. in the end i dumped iomega except for zip750.
