Um, with all due respect, Chad, are you sure it's not your newsgroup
reader (which I see is OE6)? That you haven't set it to show only unread
posts?

That's the only thing I could think of that would make your posts look
like they've been "deleted" from the newsgroup.

When I switch my NG reader* to "Show All", I can see all of the posts
that I downloaded since last Friday, including the original posting of
your repost.

(*Thunderbird on Ubuntu. Yes, I know, it sounds heretical, but if you've
read any of my recent posts to MPWVG, there's a means to my apparent
madness.... ^_^ )
