Invallid window handle

I keep getting the message
System Error. Code 1400. Invalid Window Handle.
What can I do to coeerct this problem......I am running
windows Xp. Internet explorer version 6.0.2800 xpsp2
Please help before I pull my hair out!

What are you doing when you get this error.

A Windows Handle is a pointer in the program. The Program is corrupt or you
may have hardware (ram) problems.
