invalid page fault msvcrt.dll

MY IE is making me crazy! I play games on club Pogo and
use IE because Netscape 7.1 freezes and won't close
after I try and close it. Ie used to always work but
lately for a few weeks no I have clicked My icon to open
Ie using the default homepage MSN I use fix Ie every
day due to the same constant error message and I have
ried the libraries update and everythign else is
curent, but after I shut it off and go back in and I get
an error Program casued an illegal operation I hi tok
then window comes up invalid page fault in msvcrt.dll.
this is contant even when I just use the browser to go to
microsoft fter I do the fix if i shut it off the
error comes up when I reopen it. I am running Win98 SE.
Can this be casued by Java or possibley my dll file is
corrupt ? I didn'T get a corrupt file notice when I did
my file check. My system has the 6.1 version of this
dll but programs like java and VM all have 6.0 . I
tried adding ht 6.1 to all my programs that use this
dll. but still I have the same issue. I have remved IE
as completely as possible and reinstalled it all over
but this stil keeps happening. I spen hours trying to
keep Ie running by fixing it or reinstalling it all.
Please excue any typos I am very arthritic and tying
isn't real easy for me with no spell check LOL. PLEASE
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME!! I have checked all the support
things on this error downloade instaled and done
everything it tells me and i still have the issue. I
hope sombody can understand what I am trying to get
across here !!
