i receive an e-mail and it has a attachment i try to open and
i get invalid menu..what do i need to do??

What is the attachment? More importantly, did the e-mail come from a
trusted source? If not, then consider onself very lucky at not having
to download some form of potential malware.
 
What is the file extension, and what e-mail client are you using?
