Invalid Command Line Arguments

We now have two different application that will not install on our windows xp
sp2 workstations.
The application is Adobe Creative Suite 2.
The short story is once you enable msi logging it gives a 1639 error.
Invalid command line arguments.
Adobe has no idea what is going on.
These xp systems have windows installer 3.2 v2 on them.
Other applications install fine as we are currently doing a role out and out
of 100+ applications only 2 give this issue.
Anyone have any suggestions or things that we could try before opening a
call with MS.

-I'd suggest contacting Adobe - Far more likely the error is in their setup
routine.

MS can only help if it's a bug in the msiexec.
