When I activate my computer, I get an "Invalid Boot.INI"
message and then it boots in C:/WINNT.

What is wrong and how do I correct?

What version of Windows are you running? If you are running XP, you
will need to edit the boot.ini to direct to C:\Windows

I am using Windows XP Professional. How do I edit as you
suggested?

Bill

Use a bootdisk such as Dr. DOS from www.bootdisk.com and edit the file.
It is found in your C:\ directory. Just do edit boot.ini and change it ;)
