Intro Video Failure

introductory video, the game minimizes or closes after

I have downloaded all updates for both windows and my
graphics card. I still am having the problem, and I
think that it might have something to do with Direct3D
because when I run DirectX Diagnostic every time I try
and test Direct3D the test closes immediatly after I
click start and it says "You cancelled the test by
pressing a key". I do nothing other then click start
test and every other test works fine.

I also had this same problem and also have a completely up-to-date system.
I believe I solved it by disabling one of the services that was running.
But I hate to admit that I can't remember which one it was.
