Internet unavailable after connecting to VPN

I am connecting to a VPN W2K server and the VPN is working
fine (ie. I can connect to server drives, etc as if it
were local). However, my local internet connection (the
client) gets dropped and I cannot view any websites.

I tried using 2 network cards on the client, but still no
success, and the server has multiple IP addresses and NICs.

Is there something I'm missing on either the server or
client portion? I thought about enabling Internet
connection sharing on the client, but that didnt seem like
it would be a solution...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Disable "use default gateway on remote network" in the TCP/IP advanced
properties area for the VPN connection.
