Hi,
At the moment I'm hugely struggling with my automatic updates. The last one,
the emergency update of 'Internet Explorer 7', killed more or less my system.
At one moment starting my system stopped after the background picture of my
desktop was displayed. No start button, taskbar or trash can appeared.
Luckily I (finally) solved that by reverting to an old system recovery point.
But while happily downloading my Internet connection is pulled out from
under me. I contacted my ISP, and got informed that a 'netsh winsock restart'
should work. It did, but only for half an hour.
Does anyone have a suggestion how I can get connected to the Internet all
the time?
TIA,
Macamba
