Internet starts when I switch on computer

As soon as I log on to XP, it automatically starts to go
on line - broadband,
This is a new problem in last week + applies to the other
users on my PC. How can I stop it doing that? There is
nothing in the start up file except Office. I am sure
there is something easy to do. An irritation , Thanksin

Hey John,
I have the exact same problem only it's with my Roxy CD burner program. It's
been doing it ever since we have had the computer, i honestly don't know why
we have put up with it for so long! It does happen to all users on our
computer too, and i think it might have something to do with the Task
Manager, but I'm not sure. It's like the computer has made opening the
program one of it's "to do" items, isn't it? I'm sure it's a simple
function, but I'm not sure what. Still digging around, if i find anything i
will let you know.
