I want my pc to automatically connect to the internet

HI,

I'm sure this is a really easy one - how do i get it so that my pc will
automatically connect to the internet (I have bt broadband) whenever I log on?

normally, leaving your connection on when you shut down or hibernate your
system...

Thanks for responding, I'm not aware of disconnecting when i shut down. Can I
check this somewhere?

Hi Douglas,
When you Double click your Btbroadband there is an option to Automatically
connect Check this and Click Ok.
On the IE Properties go to Connections Tab and select Always Dail up my
Defualt Connection.

maybe a new connection can be created and wil set it up for automatically
logging onto the net. i know when i shut down windows and my connection is
left on, it will be on when i start windows again....
