Internet SLOW after SP2 install

I just installed sp2 and now my internet connection is incredibly slow,
sometimes freezing. Does anyone know why and how I can fix this? We're on a
T1 line, so the connection isn't the problem.

I am having this same problem.Computer frequentlt frrezes or becomes very
slow. I then defag up to 10 times and the rate improves but only for a
short period of time. I frequently have to defrag. There are always
fragmented files, it seems.
please help

Ok a lot of people have been having this problem and I would like to know how
to fix it? I tried the thing in the technical support thing page but it didnt
work at all my connection is still going up and down between 30 and
240kbyte/s giving me an avarage of 125kbyte/s download which is a lot less
than its supposed to be (260kbit/s) now its not only the download speed thats
having problems but also the upload mine is going up and down between 20kbit
and 110kbit when its supposed to be 256kbit. If someone could please fix this
problem as soon as possible it would be great as I use my computer mainly for
online gaming which requier a good connection.

just have to change that its supposed to be 260kbyte/s not 260kbit as it says
in the post
