Internet shortcuts are opening in same browser window

I have a P.C. where there are several internet shortcuts on the desktop that
go to different sites. When you open one of these it shows up in a browser
window just fine. You click on another one and it loads in the same browser
window thereby essentially closing out the first one you where looking at.
How do I get them to open in seperate browser windows?

1... Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced.

Click on Advanced tab and make sure this check box is unchecked:
[ ] Reuse windows to launch shortcuts
Click [OK] to close and apply your changes, then Hit F5 to refresh and see
if you can open the shortcuts in different window.
