Internet sharing failure

We have a number of PC's on a network with the server
running Win 2000 Server and each PC running XP. File and
Printer sharing works fine but access to anything remote
fails on all the networked machines. Only the Server can
get internet/email/FTP and so on. Has anyone seen this
before and can recommend a solution

How are you connected to "anything remote"? Have you set DNS forwarding
correctly?
