Internet sharing and router

NM

Hello everybody,

Here is my problem:

I use to have a direct crosswired connection between 2
PC's with an internal DSL modem on 1 sharing internet and
files:(DSL modem --->PC1--->PC2). Everything worked fine.

I incorporated a router for easier printer sharing:(DSL
modem--->PC1--->ROUTER--->PC2). I can easily print, share
files but Internet does not work anymore. I used the
Windows Network connection Wizard.

Can anyone help with restoring the Internet sharing.

Thanks

I think you missed the fact that NM has an internal DSL modem, Bob.
The modem can't connect to the router.

NM, please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail)
with more information to help other people understand the problem.

How does the router make printer sharing easier? What make and model
of router is it? Does the printer connect to PC1, to PC2, or to the
router? Which router port have you connected to each computer?

Which computer can't get Internet access -- PC1, PC2, or both?
