Internet Setup Wizard Runs when I load IE6

After running the Win XP Netsetup Wizard on a windows 98
system, I found that each time I loaded IE6 to go on the
internet, the Internet Setup Wizard runs. This did not
happen before I ran Win XP Netsetup Wizard. I've done
this on other Win 98 systems with great success. This
computer is old, Presario 5020, so something in the BIOS
is perhaps the culprit. Any ideas?
