Internet Search Redirect

I think this is part of my ongoing virus problem that has affected my task
manager (tried everything suggested and still my task manager continues to
refuse me access) and my internet connection.

1. Task manager - given up on this one right now.

2. Internet search - When I go into yahoo search looking for information I
get the standard list of search results. However when I select any one of
the results I get taken to a completely different web site such a google,
shopping.net or www.search.net. If I go back and try the same selection I
will eventually get the website after 1 or two attempts

Any suggestions most welcome and thanks for the previous assistance all very
much appreciated.

It's a browser hijacker and possibly a CoolWebSearch hijacker; to rid of it
install spyware programs. Adaware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy,
SpywareBlaster, CWShredder and as last resort HijackThis. You need to update
them before scanning for better results.

Hi Panda Man -

I downloaded the free trial of Panda and now I seem to have more problems
than ever..............Did I do something wrong?? Now my IE shuts down
because of a runtime error. It seems to run slower than ever. Any
suggestions?

Thanks - Laura

What is the exact error message?
There are many different runtime errors with different causes.
