I am experiencing a delay in page loading within my
Internet browser 6.0. The delay can be upwards of 14-16
seconds. Any ideas?

Todd-

I'm going to try it tonight. When you have the high-speed
stuff you don't need to be brought back to the dial up
age. I was so frustrated at the lack of loading speed; I
installed the MSN Internet browser. That has given me no
problems but has too much fluff and to many limitations
(not customizable). One other thing, do you think that
this will also clean up the browser must shut down
issue? "The explore has encounter and error and needs to
shut down. If this problem persist please restart your
machine." Something to that effect.. What do you think?

I am having a similar problem. When I open up ANY page in
IE, it opens right up - BUT it takes 20 seconds (exactly
every time) for me to be able to click on anything -
scroll, click a link, type into a box - anything. It
happens on every page, every time. It's been like this
for two days. I was away on vacation (the computer was
off) and when I turned it back on this was happening. I
ran SpyBot, Ad-Aware, and Trend Micro Internet Security.
I've tried "restart" twice and tried turing off the
computer for several minutes and turning it back on.
Nothing works. HELP!!

IE browser loads a web page and then hangs for 30 seconds
before any links or scroll bar becomes active

HERE IS THE FIX!
go into IE, Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and under "Browsing
catagory, uncheck "EnableThird Party Browser Extensions" (requires restart
IE 6 works great no

I was having the same trouble, but finally sorted it out
thatnks to Bob Pisacane's post:

Go to www.spysweeper.com
Download and run Spy Sweeper and everythings back to
normal...
Thanks Bob

I was refered to use Spy Bot at first in which I did. It
did find a lot of stuff but it still did not resolve my
slow internet page loading. I was at the point that to
correct this I was going to have to clear ie6 off my
system. Scrolling through the posting I can accoross
someone saying use spysweeper. I down loaded it last
night. It did it's job in about 13 minutes found 2700
traces of something and 28 what I'll call adware in beded
deeep inside other programs. After it was finished
(running), my internet page loading was back to normal.
This problem plauged me for about two weeks which is about
the same time I downloaded the latest service pack. Thanks
whomever posted the info on the spysweeper software
(www.spysweeper.com).

Me Too!!! I wanted to know if there was a possibility of
another program running in the background (which isn't
likely....I used start up cop to navigate thins) or a lack
of memory (I may have went into a web page that ate up
memory)
