While I may be mistaken, for the most part, Internet Explorer stores all
its settings in the Registry. In otherwords, the Internet Options is a User
Interface for editing the registry values that control the look, feel, and use
of Internet Explorer.
If you want to manually edit changes in your registry, the first thing you
need to know is where to look (assuming your are comfortable editing your
registry by hand). You can usually turn up the registry key in question by
doing a quick google search. Most webpages provide tutorials on how to edit
your registry, but be sure that you get one from a reputable source, and, most
importantly, you back up your registry before attempting any changes.
