internet options is restricted in IE

I can't access my internet options menu in Internet
Explorer (it says I'm restricted and to ask my admin) but
I can access it through my control panel. I am the only
user on this computer, so I have admin accessability. I'm
running XP home edition. How can I fix my problem?

I had the same problem. Do you use Spybot Search & Destroy? If so the
problem may be solved within Spybot.

In Spybot go to 'Immunize'. See if you have checked the last option in
'Recommended miscellaneous protections':
'Lock IE control panel against opening from within IE (current user)'.
If so, just un-check it.
