Recently broken e-mail problem -

MS Outlook 2000 Error Message:
Internet mail is not registered properly
Error Number
0x80040154
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
Removing Outlook Express from commputer (uses Outlook not
Outlook Express)
Symptom:
Not connecting to e-mail accounts (all 10)

SYMPTOMS
You are using Outlook as your mail client. When you
attempt to send and receive mail, you receive the
following error message:

Internet Mail is not registered properly. Please reinstall
and try again.
Additionally, details from the Account status may list
error code, 0x80040154.

CAUSE
This error message may occur when either of the following
are true:
The wrong version of Inetcomm.dll is installed.
Outlmime.dll, a critical file involved in the mail
transfer process, is not registered correctly.

SYSTEM STATUS
Inetcomm.dll - was not on the computer
Copied version 5.00.2314.1300 to c:\windows\system
directory from Outlook install CD

Outlmime.dll
Location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
version: 9.0.2910.0

RAN:
To Register Outlmime.dll
Method 2: Windows 95/98

GOT: DllRegisterServer in outlmime.dll succeeded.

No change in Outlook Send/Receive Error Message
