How do I find out if Internet Information Services is running? I using XP
Pro sp2. Thanks.

Click on start then either programs or all programs, then administrative
tools, then services.

Thanks. I looked in the control panel/administrative tools/services and it
was not running. So to install it I would go to add/remove programs and add
the xp component from there is that correct?

No go to control panel/administrative tools/services and double click IIS the
startup type should be automatic

IIS is not shown at all.

It's installed on my computer and I have XP SP2 I went to add/remove Windows
components and it is shown as installed. I don't remember installing that
component but may have done it trying to fix another problem

Thanks Terry. I found it there.
