internet freezes

I am at my whits end. Everytime I try to get
www.msnbc.com it appears to be loading with flag in the
top right hand corner waving and the "world" appearing.
After the page load it stops with the "world" amd there is
no response - I have to control-ALT-Delete and end the
task. It seems that I can access any other webpage - go
from one to another - except for the msnbc site.

Any insight to this problem is appreciate!

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
