I apparently received some adware that changed my
homepage and it will not let me chance it.

I was restricted from even attempting to change it but
the Knowledge base directed me to changing the
restriction.

I change the homepage and it defults back to the unwanted
iserch.com.

Help!

Search for SpyBot in Google, download it, install it and
run it. It has an option to protect your homepage from
hijackers. Version 1.3 is now available. It wouldn't hurt
to download AdAware and run it too (search).

Also see http://www.aumha.org/a/noads.htm for an online IE
test.

Isearch along with coolwebsearch is particularly hard to
get rid of, here are some suggestions:

in regedit search for/remove the following:

It seems some of the HKEY_USERS ones dissapear after
deleting the first ones.
