I am writing from my laptop. IE6 and 7 [if I install it] both will not open
websites -"no connection" whereas Avant browser and firefox and opera do so.
I have checked everything possible but no luck.
Does anyone know whats happeninng here?

you might have missed the default firewall

They might know in the windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser newsgroups, but I
think you are using that slow old web interface discussion group, so try the
below first -

Resolved. It was being blocked by my firewall. I dont know how it happened,
but it did!
