how do i stop it from freezing up. every time i use the arrow to pull down

Have you updated your computer recently? This page may be of help:

So when you view recently typed URL address in the address bar you
receive an error message, or it freezes up?
If it gives the error message, can you post it for me please. I need to
know a few more specifics.
