when switching between programs, screens, etc. or shutting down i get a
message box. it is titled ie application error or helpctr.exe and contains
the message '0x0279ede0 or memory could not be read 0x00000ba0.
clicking OK works but, how can i find these items to remove them or whatever
needs to be done to stop this from occurring.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
I'm getting the same thing! Only difference is mine runs through about ten
different applications. Is this a virus?!
 
yes, mine also runs thru other apps. i sure hope this is not a virus. i am
thinking maybe of reinstalling and seeing if this helps. will post results.
