Internet Explorer will not open page after running Spyware Beta program

I downloaded and ran the Beta Microsoft Spyware remover program. After
running the program I cannot access the internet with Internet Explorer. I
have a netgear modem and router and have a strong signnal but cannot get
pages to load. Help.

**Note, if you are using XP SP2 the following command, run from start/run,
may get your computer going again - it will reset the winsock catalogue:
netsh winsock reset

Get either
WinsockXPfix.exe or lspfix.exe depending on if you have XP
or older system.
