internet explorer script error

I loaded Nortons Internet Security 2004 and when click on
the icon, the program come up alone with a script error.
and I cant access the program
 
Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"
--

If still no joy please post the exact and complete error message.
