Hello everybody,

since c couple of days i get the following message:

An error has occured in the script of this page

Line: XXX

Char: XX

Error: Error at loading DLL (In fact i get it in german: "Fehler beim
Laden einer DLL")

Code: XXX

URL: XXXXXXXXXXXXX

The line and character number, the error code and the URL vary,
depending on the application i'm starting. The most serious thing with
this is that i'm not able to start a virus scan with Norton Antivirus
because he uses the script enginge of IE to show his pages.

I already installed the MS Sricpt Engine and tried several times to
install IE 6 again.

Does anybody have any idea how to solve this ?

Regards,

Juergen

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

You might want to re-install your scripting engine:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/scripting/
http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/vbscript/scripting.asp
Win2K % WinXP
