Internet Explorer replaced Favorites Folder with c:\windows

My favorites folder is still there, but I don't know how to get it back.

Hi,

Your favorites should be located here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Favorites

If not, copy the one you have to this location.

Set the favorites folder path in the registry: Windows XP stores the location of per-user special folders (including favorites path) here:

[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]
You can change the path there. Or, use TweakUI and change the location of Special folders.
