Internet Explorer problems

T

Tim Sutor

For the past few days I have been experiencing some difficulty in accessing
Internet Explorer. Previously I had no problems. Irrespective of which
method I choose, shortcut on desktop. Start/programme/ie etc. I still get
the same response which is that the ie page flashes on the monitor for a
second or two and then disappears. Sometimes I have to make many attempts
before the browser finally starts.

Can anybody please suggest a remedy?

Have a look in the IE newsgroup and see if you are happy with the
solutions to this problem, perhaps caused by updates that may conflict
with HP software.

Hi,

Follow the steps outlined here, as I am betting that you have a malicious
plug-in:

To access the controls without opening Internet Explorer, click start/run
and type "control inetcpl.cpl" (without the quotes), then click ok.
