internet explorer problems

when i use the internet sometimes i get an error message that says internet explorer has encountered an error and needs to close, so when i close it the browser ends up getting stuck to the screen even though i've already closed it. anyone know why this is happening?

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type:

SFC /SCANNOW
