Internet Explorer problem

I am having problems accessing the web via IE. When I attempt to visit any
site, even my homepage, it give me the "this page can not be displayed"
error. I also notice something that says 'launchmodem' at the top of the
browser. Can someone please help me with this issue? Thanks.
 
Hi,
What type of connection- DSL? Try shutting everything (modem, router,
computer) down for about 5 minutes.

Has anything changed recently? Installed or updated security software?

Shutting everything down did solve my problem. I appreciate your time and
