I just dl a demo from an old game. When I installed it, some box came up
saying it was an old game that wasn't designed to run on windows NT or a
later version (I have Windows XP Home Edition). I installed it anyways.
Everything was fine untill I quit. Then I noticed that the Internet Explorer
pictogram on my desktop was the old one and it just will not change. When I
try right-clicking it, you can change about anything you want about IE,
except the pictogram itself. And even in the configuration program there just
is no answer. Could you help me?

Well Windows XP just happens to be THE latest workstation version of
Windows NT. The program may have replaced the Icon for the Internet
Explorer shortcut. If thats all you broke, you are out of the woods.
