internet explorer & p2p software crashing

when using internet explorer or p2p software the computer
crashes "locks up", using ctrl+alt+del does nothing, all
i can do is maually reboot. also sometimes the computer
will reboot for no reason

any ideas as to the cause and any fixes suggested
 
sounds like you got a trojan or malware using p2p,
happens a lot with file sharing. get a scan or two. most
virus software will not find it.
