Internet Explorer -- need help

I'm really not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have a
question about internet explorer. Whenever I start up the program or click on
a link that brings me to the program, it does not come up maximized like it
used to. Instead it comes up in 'restore down' mode, so I have to click
maximize so it beomes maximized instead of just starting up that way. Could
someone please give me directions of how to fix this problem? Thank you.

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.

Actually, this will work as well.

Start IE, lets say from the Quick Launch toolbar, maximize it using the
maximize button. Don't close it.

Click IE on the Quick Launch toolbar again, maximize it using the maximize
button. Now close this copy of IE and the first one.

The next time you launch IE from the Quick Launch toolbar, it will be
maximized.

The other posts of dragging the window will work as well, but that isn't
actually maximizing the window. Just my two cents.

Techdango,
Your advice really helped. Thank you. I followed your steps and whenever I
open a new IE window it is now maximized, but if I click on a hyperlink to
bring me to IE it still is not maximized. I tried following your steps for
this problem too, but it doesn't work. Is there any way to fix this?

After clicking on a hyperlink that opens a new Internet Explorer window, close all other IE windows and drag the corners of the new window to the edges of the screen. Then hold down the Ctrl key and click the close button. After that hyperlinks should open in the size you set, which is not really full screen but close enough to not make much difference.
