Internet Explorer malfunctioning

After I launch Internet Explorer and right click at the top of the browser a
menu appears that has the following choices: Standard Buttons, Address Bar,
Links, Lock the Toolbars, and Customize. The only thing that has a check mark
next to it is Customize the rest are grayed out. To correct this I've tried
uninstalling Internet Explorer and scanning for viruses with Norton with no
success. Also I've reviewed and uninstalled some of the last programs that I
had installed recently still with no success. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi DTS,

Windows and IE version? Sounds like IE7 as you said that one of your fixes
was to un-install IE.. IE7 can't be un-installed only rolled-back to V6 SP2.

If it is IE7 then enable your Add-ons in the Add-on Manager (Tools>Manage
Addons).
