How do I get rid of the annoying Key-Click sound in IE 6.0.2800 when
browsing from page to page and clicking on sites. I can control sounds in
every other program but can not figure this one out. There has to be a way
other than turning down the speaker volume. In windows 98 SP this was not a
problem. Thanks.

Try editing the registry. Sorry, but I don't know how to do it.
This has nothing to do with editing the registry. The sound event is
called something like "Navigation" and you can turn it off in the
Sounds applet in Control Panel.

Control Panel/Sounds

Set the "Start Navigation" sound to none.

Note...This is in the Windows Explorer section of the sounds list.

Control Panel - Sounds and Audio - Sounds page. Look in the
Windows Explorer section for Start Navigation and Complete Navigation
and set them from the drop down to "(None)" (up top of list)
