Internet explorer keeps gping offline

I have a Dell PC running Windows XP and Explorer V6.0.
This PC has AOL configured and connects via wireless to a
home network (Linksys router) and a cable modem. My
network connection stays live, but Explorer frequently
goes to "Working Offline" mode. When this happens I can
still use AOL and Outlook fine. Any ideas on what my
problem might be?

On your connection properties page check what settings you have on the
Dialling tab for

Enable idle disconnect
and
Disconnect when connection may not be needed

You can get to a connection property page from the Start/Settings/Dial-up
Networking menu and then clicking the Properties button on the selected
connection dialog.
