internet explorer keeps freezing or shutting down

My internet explorer keeps freezing or shutting down for no reason that I
know of. It happens pretty often. I got this error message:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: flash8.ocx
ModVer: 8.0.22.0 Offset: 00068c32

If you know some way to fix this I would appreciate the help.

Don,

I am getting similar IE error message with the following details:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: flash8.ocx
ModVer: 8.0.22.0 Offset: 00054b1f

It appears to be happening on the Disney website when my daughter is trying
to play some of their online games. I used the uninstaller and then
reinstalled but the game freezes within the first minute and gives the same
error message.

Any more ideas? Thanks.

Hi,
It sounds like Flash Player is corrupted. Download and run the uninstaller
for Flash Player 8 from
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157 then
redownload FP8 from
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

Hope this helps,

Try updating your graphics card driver. It may be an older or non-certified
version now.

Then reducing acceleration of the graphics, it can cause problems at times.
