Hello,

Yesterday, while I was working on my computer all of the sudden I witness
that Java Script was turned off in my Internet Explorer. I've tryed going to
options and re-enableing Active Scripting, tryed setting it to default, to
lower security settings.. I dont know what else to do! It works fine with my
FireFox.

Can someone help me here? It's really annoying, because 9 out of 10
websites, use Java Script and not having this enable is standing on my work
for normal operations.

Thanks in advance.

How did you determine this? Post any error messages you're receiving in
their entirety.

Running a Norton, McAfee or Zone Alarm application?

well, i dont get any errors, but let's say i go to my site where i see
google ads, i dont see them anymore, but like i said if i open firefox i see
those ads fine, here is url:

http://alexus.org/google/AdSense.html

or if i go to www.google.com, usually when i go there my cursor in search
field so i can type it right away, now i have to use mouse to point to that
field..

i also just find out that when i go to internt explorer help about i see
blank window, well not really blank but all fields where i usually see
versions i dont see anything writen there..

also ESC button stop working in IE :(

i can even use system restore to go back :(

something is majorly (beep) with my computer and it was fine just two days
ago! and no i didnt install anything on my computer

i used to run norton anti-virus but it expired more then half a year ago and
i dont feel like renewing it. i dont use mcafee nor zone alarm, i use
windows firewall if i need to use firewall..

Lemme get this straight:

- Norton Anti-Virus is still installed but your subscription has lapsed and
it doesn't get updated anymore, and you haven't replaced it with another
anti-virus application?

- You may occasionally enable the Windows Firewall but you don't have it
enabled 24/7?

No wonder you're having problems.

The first things you must do are:

1. Enable the Windows Firewall and leave it enabled.

2. Uninstall NAV via Add/Remove Programs, reboot, install a reliable
anti-virus application, seek & install updated definitions, and then run a
Full System scan (and I'd suggest running it in Safe Mode).

Then check for and remove the hijackware/Trojanware that's causing your
problems:

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
